Food as Medicine

Thirty years of hands-on growing. Turmeric, galangal, and seasonal vegetables cultivated slowly, sustainably, and with deep care for the soil.

Welcome

A small farm with a big belief

Pixie Farm is a family-run sustainable farm nestled in the Southeast United States, guided by one simple belief: the food we grow can heal us. Founded by David, who brings over 30 years of hands-on farming experience, we specialize in turmeric, galangal, and a wide variety of nutrient-dense vegetables chosen for their flavor and their wellness benefits. Everything we do — from the soil up — is rooted in respect for the land.

Sustainable Practices

We enrich our soil with biochar and locally sourced mulch, building long-term fertility without synthetic inputs. Our goats and sheep play an active role in land management, keeping the farm in natural balance year-round.

Medicinal Herbs

Turmeric and galangal are at the heart of our operation — two powerful rhizomes with centuries of use in traditional medicine. We grow them slowly so they develop the full spectrum of compounds that make them genuinely healing.

Community First

Pixie Farm is more than a place to buy produce — it is a gathering point. Through our CSA program, farm-to-table events, and educational workshops, we share what we know and build community around real food.

The soil remembers everything you put into it — and so do the people who eat what comes out of it.
